Faith is personal. Religion is personal. Belief systems are personal.
All of these should be deeply respected because they are the touchstone of the human journey.
Seeking to understand another’s beliefs and honouring them is our goal. You do not have to share a belief to respect it.
At Rowanwood, we seek to educate ourselves in all faith systems to better participate in the traditions that are important to the cultures and faith followers who practice them.
We will seek out those with knowledge in faiths that we understand but are not experts in, and learn with an open heart and open mind.
We will practice the art of knowledge, respect and veneration over fear.
We will officiate a celebration in whatever belief system, or non-belief system that someone holds, because we respect that everyone is on their own path.
