The Rowan Seven
There are seven laws in metaphysics and seven laws or principles in many modalities that we will study over time. For the moment, these are the basics.

The Law of Life encourages those who practice metaphysics to look at the relationship between themselves and the outside world and evaluate these components. To be good to the outside world and to think good thoughts helps the person experience good things.
Truth is always the best path and it will always succeed over lies or falsehoods. People who practice metaphysics are encouraged to stay honest with their truth. Be compassionate about it and to use insightful discretion.
The Law of Compensation is similar to the concept of karma. It states when a person puts out positive works into the world, positive things will happen and reflect back to them. In opposition to this, when a person is always negative and a lacks any touchstone in their path of spirituality, they will experience the same lessons repeatedly.
The Law of Abundance states when a service is offered without attachment, help is given without expectations, kind words are spoken, or any positive idea or act, this person will see it returned tenfold. Putting out good energy and positive thoughts into the world means good energy and positive actions will find you in return.
The Law of Love is a creative force within all life in the universe. It is imprinted within every living thing, animate or inanimate. This creative force can be manifested in both the seen and unseen planes of existence.
The Law of Perfection clarifies that all objects, plants, animals and people are part of a creative force from within and since that creative force is perfect, all things have the opportunity and ability to define what perfection is. Perfection is only achieved by having a good spiritual and earthly balance, thinking positive thoughts, engaging in positive actions and accepting that there is no such thing as perfection within the universe as it is ever changing and evolving.
The Law of Freedom is probably the most important law in metaphysics. Those who practice metaphysics do not believe in an all-powerful figure, they have almost total control over their bodies and actions. “Almost” as metaphysical beliefs include Divine Intervention for most practitioners. Free will ties into all of the other laws as it is free will that allows you to change the direction of a life path through the thought process; to see it as happy or sad.
